The Green Campsite - Department of Conservation

Information

A small campsite on the sheltered and scenic waters of Whangaparapara Harbour.

The Green campsite can only be accessed by boat or walking in.

Set among the remains of timber milling, kauri logging and whaling history along the Old Mill Track, The Green is the smallest DOC campground on the island.

Next to the campsite is the Tramline track which takes you up to the scenic Kauri Falls on your way to the Forest Road, part of the Aotea Track.
