The Milk, Honey and Grain museum displays the history of Great Barrier Island’s early settlers. Gain insights into the lives of the people that first came to the island, with themes including industry, technology and historic events.

Wiltshire Manor Backpackers is alongside the Museum and situated 5 minutes the Claris Centre where there is a store, postal outlet/gift shop, gas station, Laundromat, bottle shop and café… and a couple of minutes from Claris airfield. The beautiful Kaitoke beach is just down the road.

There are 3 bedrooms… 1 x double, 1 x twin, and 1 x single. The shared amenities include… a 2-burner gas hob, a small fridge, 12-volt power, a gas heater, a BBQ and it is suitable for children.
